Right now the damage done by SARS-CoV-2 dwarfs the cost of World War II and it’s still growing.

Will China be held accountable at all for the incalculable costs their incompetence (at best) has reigned down on the world?

1) At the minimum, they should be made to pay for all the "Made-in-China" masks they sold and profited from. I'd estimate, for Americans, that we spent at least $200 per person over the course of a year. They can remit that to the U.S. government, and we can either a) deduct that from our taxes owed next year, or b) use it to pay down the national debt.

2) And that's the least of at. Then let's calculate how many people got the $600 per week extra federal unemployment, which then become $400 (or $300), and have China cover for that. We can use it to back down the extra debt we incurred as a result.

3) Then let's factor in the human costs in terms of depression, other health matters ignored or untreated, the increase in domestic abuse, and so forth.

4) Now let's come up with a cost for the delayed educational development of tens of millions of children for one year, putting us even further behind the Chinese.

5) Next up are the increased medical and hospital costs in caring for the very ill.

6) And finally, an amount to compensate the 500,000 families who lost a loved one.

The total should be equivalent to $10 trillion dollars.

They distract people by focusing on what people call it, and pointing the finger of hate crime in those directions.

All I can say is that creating deadly viruses in lab's, that do not exist in nature is the real hate crime against humanity.

I consider that to be evil science.

This would be extremely interesting if true. Please cite your source.

Not a hate crime and it's definitely from there but like many said it's so stupid to call it that. The West has been propping up anti-China years ago since they realized they will fall behind in almost every category. If Covid-20 comes out of America or some place in Europe I doubt we will be calling it the "American Virus" or the "French Virus", "British Virus", etc. It's ridiculous, unnecessary, and quite pathetic if you know the reasoning behind it as I stated. Frankly its behavior like this that makes America weaker and weaker (more division, more anti-xxx bills, resentments, attacks, etc).

It should still be considered a viable hypothesis worth investigating. It’s ridiculous it was dismissed out-of-hand because Orangeman said it.

Quote:
It’s documented that researchers at the Wuhan Institute of Virology were doing gain-of-function experiments designed to make coronaviruses infect human cells and humanized mice… The researchers were not vaccinated against the viruses under study, and they were working in the minimal safety conditions of a BSL2 laboratory… In all of China, the pandemic broke out on the doorstep of the Wuhan institute. The virus was already well adapted to humans, as expected for a virus grown in humanized mice. It possessed an unusual enhancement, a furin cleavage site, which is not possessed by any other known SARS-related beta-coronavirus, and this site included a double arginine codon also unknown among beta-coronaviruses.

There has to be a threat or use of physical force for this hate crime law to be used. I suppose in this bizarre days, a nutty DA or judge could decide the words 'China virus' conveys a physical threat.

Wouldn't be surprised if he included such a thing. Personally, I have absolutely nothing against Chinese people or Asian people in general. I've never even thought about disliking them because they are Asian. The Chinese Communist Party sucks though.
