I've never heard anyone (at least in my area) paying 80 bucks for a prom ticket.

Sounds like the schools are having budget issues and looking for ways to make cash

I think my prom tickets were 40 dollars each or 60 for a couple.

So that is indeed on the high end, but it negates the argument this thread attempts to make. The school didnt only charge unvaxxed kids, they charged everyone.

For $40-80 a head, I almost want to start a prom hosting business.

That’s the price to attend, period.
Would have been the price in a non-pandemic year, as it is the norm all over the country for students to pay to attend prom.
Is the fact that students pay to attend prom news to people?

The only difference in this case, is that those who are vaccinated are having their tickets paid for by an outside party.

A quick google search yielded this:

“PROM TICKETS: The cost of prom tickets can range from $70-$100.”

I guess the COVID virus can be bribed.

If the unvaccinated pay the $80, all the other prom goers will be safe? The COVID virus agrees not to go to prom?

Is that how this "logic" works?

You Democrats don’t get to tell Republicans what they’re allowed to complain about.
