And we're only scared he may run again in the sense that he may do more damage to the country with a revival of the sentiment that an incompetent autocrat would offer good governance for the USA. Thankfully that sentiment appears to be waning at present.

Honestly, this suit has reportedly been filed by the Chinese American Civil Rights Coalition. I was unable to find much information about them at all online. I don't know if they are new, small, under the radar or a combination of the above. I expect this is a gambit for getting the organization;s name out there - look how much play it's gotten already. If you Google the name the only thing you'll find of any consequence is stories about this lawsuit.
Part of the problem here is that "China Virus/Kung Flu" was already labeled "COVID 19". Had it been labeled "China Flu" or "Wuhan Flu" to begin with then perhaps it would have been ok.
"Kung Flu" while clever and funny is crass enough that it probably should be avoided by public officials who while they are in the public domain.
