Everyone who buys lotto tickets regularly thinks they will win. Delusional thinking.

It won't take much more to win in 2024, that is for certain.
It also means half those who voted for him think he lost. That's promising.

It doesn't surprise me. Trump has done more with the 'election fraud' lie to destabilize American democracy than any other single person I can think of. That poll is further proof of that.

Win what? You won't win anything against a tech-armed Leviathan.

The fact that it’s down to 25% is a good sign.

... A quarter of Americans say Donald Trump is 'true president' of the US

I had no idea that there were so many blockheads among us.

Thankfully the number is falling, so hope for the American people is not entirely lost.

There probably are not. What people say and what they actually believe can be quite different. It's like "we was robbed" after your team loses. A substantial fraction of that 25% know that Trump lost fair and square but it is the fan mentality talking when it comes to the pollsters. Then again....we are talking Republicans here - not the sharpest tools in the shed anymore.

So that means 3/4 of Americans say he isn't...

25% huh? Looks like he's losing support, usually 35% can be counted on worshiping all things Trump.

Trump is not in the White House.
Imagine someone not even in the White House being President according to 25% of the country.

That poll was taken less than a week after the 2016 election. MAGA lunatics are still believing this nonsense over 6 months after the election.

BTW, Clinton conceded the day after the election. Still waiting on Trump to concede.
