Interesting…. Sounds like liberals are lawyering up and targeting Bezos Deep Pockets using Race as their trump card

Amazon shareholders demand end to pollution's hitting people of color hardest

An internal petition signed by 640 Amazon tech and corporate employees is asking the company to raise its emissions goals and address the disproportionate environmental harms its logistics empire leaves on Black, Latino, Indigenous and immigrant neighborhoods where its warehouses are often concentrated

We have an Amazon facility/warehouse/distribution center in our town, and it's in an industrial park. Seeing as these things take up acres and acres...it would seem unlikely that they're going up in the hoods.

These warehouses employ THOUSANDS of people in good-paying low-skill jobs with great benefits. Do we want to raise people out of poverty, or do we want to clamp down further on our economy for “the climate”?

I wonder how many of these shareholders will invite these "logistics empire" facilities to move into their own neighborhoods or offer to trade homes with the black and brown people affected by these facilities' current locations -- you know, in the interest of "equity."

Anytime anyone is successful people who do nothing with their lives think they are entitled to something for nothing. I'm beginning to see just how dangerous this is... I mean I've always preached teaching people to fish rather than giving them fish, but these people will destroy a country if you let them run with unchecked power.

We're in the complacency, apathy stage, transitioning towards dependency but not there, so we have some time yet.
