This is what they have after years of "getting Trump"???
Paperwork errors that are usually solved in civil court?
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
That's about it. They "nailed" a 73 year old guy no one ever heard of because he did not pay taxes on a car and an apartment that were provided by the company he worked for.
This is the big "WE Got Trump!"?

They are well past that. This work has grown out of sworn testimony before congress. It took some time to access the documents to verify (or disprove) the testimony and flesh out the details.
This is a grand jury investigation issuing indictments based upon the recently accessed documentary evidence. They see a pattern of criminality, and they have several additional months of work ahead of them.
It's not looking like 'paperwork errors' of the type you or I might make.
So in your world, it's communist to go after the biggest criminals first? Wow.
I am saying that is what Communist China does. When the pandemic started in Wuhan and some doctors spoke out and were put in prison. When people violated one child laws in China they were made examples of that. Here we are suppose to have a fair and equal justice system. Picking and choosing who to go after to scare the masses does not seem American to me. It seems communist chinese. So does picking on your political rivals. And if anyone believes that NY state would have done this to Trump if he was a loyal democrat ex president I have some swamp land for you.
And I don't think Trumps accountant is the biggest criminal. And he is innocent until proven guilty. So at this point he is not a criminal. NY state claims there is unreported benefits taken by him. Its not proven to have occurred. And the whole thing is clearly politically motivated so we will see how it shakes out.

I am not a Trump voter but I totally agree with you. If they had something on Trump they would not be trying to shake down his 73 year old bookkeeper. Clearly the investigation has gone off the rails.
And on top of that. Trump has very publicly stated he squeezes ever cent he can legally as far as deductions and write off. I am sure he has saved hundreds of millions if not billions doing this over the years. And I am suppose to believe that he is going to knowingly cross the line commit tax fraud on what in comparison is a very small percentage of his income. That does not pass the smell test.

Then they should absolutely be prosecuted, starting with the biggest fish. Right?
I don't know about you, pal. But as a business owner and pretty complicated family finances, I pay taxes on every cent of income. If you don't then I want you prosecuted as well because you're stealing from me.
This is like watching a movie that hasn't ended yet and the credits are running. The DA requested a protective order to keep discovery close to the vest while the investigation continues. So yea.....yesterday's news was somewhat underwhelming but it was egregious enough to file charges. Has the investigation gone off the rails? Maybe. The Grand Jury is still empaneled and the investigation goes on. We still don't know what the DA is looking at or the strategy they are implementing. If nothing comes down while Cy Vance is still DA then I'd say this is all they have. We are still in speculation land right now.
