Actually, interstates were built to connect military bases. However, the way they were built, alot of Black people ended up being hurt by them. In many cases they divided communities. In some cases they destroyed them. Many Black neighborhoods were torn down to make way for the interstates. City planners tended to use the interstates as a backdoor way to tear down many Black neighborhoods.

Jim Crow was a democrat party policy, why would republicans adopt it? Using the government to institute racist policies is what Democrats do, not Republicans.

If all Americans were suddenly given a miraculous opportunity to revise history and undo slavery, most people would vote in favor of it.

After all, who wouldn't be in favor of it??? African-Americans, that's who!

Instead, they would be stuck in Africa trying to figure out how to get to America or Europe to get in on the good life created by Western Civilization!

Isn't it time to put aside injustices that occurred before any of us were born and strive towards the kind of success that is available to all Americans today?

I am part Native American. Do I wish that white Europeans had never arrived and that I was part of a tribe, busy hunting and gathering? Hell no!

Everyone in my family are college graduates (for generations) and most of us are teachers, doctors, or lawyers. We truly live the American Dream!

You can too when you give up self-defeating habits and lifestyles.

Look at what the Democrats and their allies in BLM and antifa are doing today, they are causing destruction and violence in minority neighborhoods, literally gutting them, and causing more "white flight."

In 1964, the Civil Rights Act was put up for a vote. Alot of Northern Democrats and Northern Republicans were in favor of it. Of the 112 Southerners who voted on it, only 9 supported it. No Southern Republican supported the Civil Rights Act.
