This is certainly good news for those of us in the oil patch. Maybe Sleepy Joe will give us one more boom before he puts us out of business.
Yeah, as long as it doesn't trigger earthquakes in the OKC metro area like around Edmond. It's not good when Edmond can pack a big Baptist church with people complaining about the earthquakes. I know. I was there.
Then why didn't Trump make gas prices stay at 99 cents or under?
Cause it was never 99 cents a gal pal when he got in office. Last time it was that cheap was when we had great Bill in office. Soon as Bush 2 was in office gas started to go way up in later 02 and his 2 failed wars gave us record prices in 08. He sank our economy so bad brad that gas went down like a clown in early 09 only to have Obama make it go way back up.
Can't read your own chart huh? I was paying $2.50 under Trump. Now paying $3.20. Do the math if you can.
It started to ramp up fast as soon as Joe blow was in office. I had a 2021 Camaro that got around 8mpg and just got sick of paying way too much. Once gas got above 3.20 a gal for prem i knew it was coming to a end soon. Once it hit 3.75 a gal out of nowhere i went right to the dealer and got a EV magee.
Dude sorry. You're clearly ignorant to the topic of Economics and the control of a President. Did you at least take a Civics class when you were in school?
Here's one article that might help to educate you. A simple query would produce over 1,000 hits. Not sure what the point would be in listing another 10 or so for you. They will all say the same thing. In a nutshell....
Bottom Line
The president is a very powerful and influential person, but his ability to dramatically change something as big and diverse as the U.S. economy is very limited. The president is in charge of fiscal policy, but fiscal policy is hard to change and has a path of its own. The economy usually goes through cycles of upturns and downturns, which are unchanged by any economic policy and can only be moderated by it.
You have no idea what you're talking about (nor does the poster talking about hyperinflation). But do continue with your Henny Penny act (make sure to use as many caps and exclamation points as possible) It's actually become comical at how many threads you have started on the topic. If you're hurting that bad financially, maybe you should spend a little less time here and get out and work a bit more. Just a thought.
No, it is YOU who will NOT recognize not ALL economists think the same things all the time.
For example, Klugman and Kudlow could NOT be further apart on economic issue and BOTH are considered experts.
Your juvenile insults and superiority attitude tells me all I need to know about YOU!

I agree. Time to ignore him as he is living on another planet janet.
