If you look at recent history in the USA you can see that every progressive push... faces a little push back but in the end... the conservative pushback is always overwhelmed by the "progressive" push.

As a Libertarian who is a strong fiscal conservative and more liberal on social issues I perhaps have some insight. I feel people have a right to live how they choose. Gay marriage no problem. legal weed no problem. Abortion no problem. What consenting adults do with their lives and bodies is their business as long is its not harming other living things.

I believe many of the so called conservative values are more christian based and have no place in government. I grew up in Los Angeles in a neighborhood that was 90% jewish (I am not jewish) however the jews that lived there did not push their beliefs on the community at large like christians and sometimes muslims do through politics. Everyone has a right to believe whatever religion they want or none at all but they don't have a right to legislate their beliefs on others.

So often conservatives are on the wrong side of history. Conservatives who were often democrats especially in the south were against integration and for segregation. They have been against most of the major social changes since then. It was always a losing cause and pointless really.

So many people around me really believe these things... when you tell them the truth, they don't listen. The assume you are just lying because you are "one of them".

What exactly do you think is “appealing for the masses”
- UBI
- Taxing the Rich
- being part of a global community
- peace by paying off nasty countries
- being friends with China
- Treating teachers and the medical industry better because they are "heros"

These messages are like candy for the people who don't really look under the surface.

Texas is just a matter of time until they fall. Austin is a homeless haven like LA, soon each city will start doing the same thing and more conservatives will leave, more liberals will come in... and more people will start thinking blue.

These conservative havens are in complete retreat...falling back and trying to hold the line -- if we were going to win red would be spreading... it isn't.

Today, the figures are in the high 30 % range. What is not emphasized enough , and is left out of the conversation in many cases, is that the principal driver of the economic growth of America came not from the College Graduate, but from the High School Grad and even below. The College Grad many times had the their hand on the throttle , and formulated structures and plans , however the heavy lifting was done by the ordinary, common American worker.
How very Marxist of you.

PS. You use way too many capital letters. Proper nouns and titles are capitalized, not every noun.

I predict that UBI and high taxes on upper income people will be the future. Some future candidate for POTUS will tap into that with a message that works with middle class and lower people probably across both parties. Then the sanctioned looting of our country will begin.

There are way more non wealthy people than wealthy ones. Majority rules. At first it will seem like a win win for these folks. Massive wealth transfers will be very appealing in the short term. All the big shots will be on the retreat. I am sure when Hugo Chavez took over Venezuela and took away all the money from the wealthy there it was quite popular. Problem is when the money runs out and it will. Then what? Venezuela is still trying to figure that out.

A little bit of Marxism sometimes is necessary.

The only way to lose if elections are rigged.

It is not logical that the majority of voters would have elected a party that must lie, mislead, destroy lives, divide the country, open its borders and make taxpayer pay to support illegal aliens, corrupt the DOJ and rig an election to win.

Not logical that the two candidates the dem voters rejected in early must win primaries somehow got to sit in the oval office.

It is historic that a mentally diminished candidate has won the presidency given the past treatment by the media of candidates like Perry, Dean and Dukakis when they flubbed a question or acted strangely. The implication was the possibility of a mental issue. Yet they claim voters chose biden, who by any objective evaluation is teetering on the brink of consciousness.

Dems have rigged their own primaries, ask Bernie. Who would stand shoulder to shoulder with that criminal lot?

You can ignore all the politcal banter about a rigged election and just see for yourself the election had to be rigged to put a mental patient and a shallow hologram of a screen saver who is in waaaaay over her head in the oval office.

If HR1 passes it will remove the sole legal safety valve voters have to react to elected officials, candidates and their policies. Safety valves are installed to prevent explosions.

No election integrity, expect turmoil and more division and states rebelling against the federal socialist government.

the current administration is corrupt and its election, invalid.

I also think the vaccination is a good measure for how we are losing. In my state 70% of the population have already had one dose.. lets just say the spread in left wing states are 70-30... even with 60-10 the other way, in conservative states... we aren't going to push that back.

I would not be for UBI but I think something is wrong with the employee-employer structure. I think someone isn't playing fair and had caused it to be out of balance. I see the employee-employer relationship as a toxic one in most instances and I think young people in particular do have a point... about how it isn't working for them like it did for prior generations... I am willing to give it a shot... and I do think it could work..

What I won't tolerate is free education.

And who is going to do something about it? No one.

The USSC? Nope we refuse to touch it.

The Military? Nope we refuse to touch it.

Election officials? Nope we refuse to touch it.

Congress? Nope we refuse to touch it.

Without anyone who cares to do anything about it, you can shake your fist at the sky all day long. Nothing will ever change... and admit it... they reason they refuse to do anything about it... is because it is the way they want it.

I think conservatives have to accept that yes.. yes... there are a lot more americans then they would care to admit that do not think this administration or anything liberal or progressive is bad.

I am sure there is some voter fraud... but we have been unable to stop it for years... and probably will never be able to.

That to me is the very root of how the two parties are different. With our world becoming more open and sharing values and information through social media, controllers are going to lose. They are desperately trying to change laws to accommodate the fear and control but they will fall flat on their faces as we grow. Takes time as people are brain washed, but we will get there.
lol....

You couldn't possibly have that more backwards.. You really need to open your eyes and face the truth, the left is nothing if not completely about control.
That is why America is rapidly heading towards being a third world country, we are now being governed by communists. China Joe and his ilk are destroying America and I see no hope to rescue her. Trump saved us for four years, then the loonies voted for a corrupt, demented, pedophile.

obama was the most divisive, corrupt, incompetent president in history, and in just a few short months feeble Joe has surpassed him in a huge way. Leftist hate America and are all about destroying her.
