Number two--there wasn't even much evidence that any kind of assault had occurred at all.
The Tulsa Tribune, a white-owned newspaper in the city, immediately ran with the idea that a Black man had tried to assault a white girl inside an elevator, even though there was little evidence this had occurred, according to Ellsworth. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/nbcblk/...check-n1269045
{sigh} whether there was or wasn't any type of assault will never be known. You, of all people, don't know. My point was that the young lady's refusal to file charges is not evidence that no assault/rape occurred or that it did occur. Her refusal was meaningless, in that it does not shed any light on any of the other facts.
I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.
Slap yourself at least 4 more times for good measure.
In terms of resource access, big bank accounts aren't that big of a deal anymore.
All it means is that you will be able to buy the more expensive, fancier versions of everything that pretty much anyone else already has access to.
Instead of the $3 McDonald's burger, you're gonna by the $30 gourmet version at the fancy restaurant.

That article doesn't really explain what "self made" means. For instance, Bill Gates obviously created basically all his wealth, but he was born to professionals who sent him to one of the few private schools in the country that had computing technology at the time, a highly exclusive and serendipitous opportunity only made possible by his parents' successes. Is he "self made"?

lol - i'm guessing that there were 1,000s of students at the Ivy Schools while Gates was there, and how many of them created Microsoft? 100s? Dozens? How about 1. (Okay, 2 if you want to count Paul Allen) Bill Gates. Of course he is self made.

There was no rape. The fact that she didn't file charges reinforces that fact. You're grasping at straws in order to justify an atrocity. Shameful.

Not much is known about Sarah Page. This long feature in the Tulsa World states that although at first it was believed she was 17, it's likely she was actually just 15 and had come to Tulsa to wait out a divorce filed in Kansas city. (???) Additionally, the elevator didn't sit flush with the floor surface on the 3rd floor, creating a little lip and it's likely the man tripped on that ledge and flung into her accidentally, causing that brief outcry of surprise.

Looking back does nothing. We should be looking ahead to make things better.
But some people want to keep the guilt and victimization going for some reason?
People are still bad even today, and will continue to be so in the future.
I know it's hard for most of mainstream society to hear, but... Homo sapiens are even today just an awful species.
We're petty, shallow, and judgemental over trivially annoying traits of others;
We're often dishonest and exploitative;
Some even abusive and violent.
The mainstream just needs to grow up and accept that the average person is not nearly as good as he or she believes himself to be. Nor is their community or social group as good either. For Christians, doesn't even the Bible say that "man" is basically evil? If so, then it shouldn't be that hard a leap for you all to see that 2021 humans are just as despicable as 1221 ones were. Even what "progress" we've made has been due only because we've been conditioned by our culture to believe in the current set of values. Violation of which will lead to arrest, job loss, ostracism, or ridicule. If we truly were a good species, we wouldn't need such threats to motivate us to be good.
This issue has been brought up to keep the coals warm while awaiting the George Floyd appeal later this month.
The China virus lockdowns are ending. They can't have people running around and being happy.
yep. that, and president houseplant needed an excuse to bellow insipidly about 'white supremacy' yet again.
