The Internet = The New Public Square

The New Public Square = Privately Owned by Biased Organizations

Until the internet is recognized and regulated as such according to the first amendment,
there can be no freedom, no liberty, nor justice

I think we're in a transition period where the security requirements haven't caught up to the change in technology, which leaves the economy in a vulnerable state. The anonymity of the internet and the complete lack of discrete borders leaves everybody scrambling to deal with constant nitwits. I'm expecting that in a few decades the institutions of the internet will be more robust and the digital economy stabilized. Companies will operate behind highly advanced security barriers maintained by AI systems. The anonymity of the internet will be gone, because the AI systems can soon figure out who you are.

What he means is since the left started forming groups of leftist militants who go around the internet threatening the livelihoods of anyone who disagrees with them most people who disagree with them have started keeping their thoughts to themselves, and they have misinterpreted this to mean that everybody except for a few huddled masses of quivering troglodytes clinging to their Bibles and guns actually agrees with them.
