Canada did a horrible job with Covid vaccines. Absolutely. There is no defense.
But, Canadians live longer than Americans, and the country spends a 1/3 less as a percentage of GDP. Living longer overall is the best measure of outcomes.

Canada is MUCH less diverse than the USA and I'm sure the people there have less stress. They rely on the government to take care of them more than in the USA.
It's not a very good apples to oranges comparison when you compare a country that is 10x the size with 50% more diversity and a whole lot more personal freedoms to Canada.
I am not educated enough on the subject to give an opinion, with that being said, we need Partisan support to reign in these private insurance companies.
I, on the other hand, believe that if you open up the geographic restrictions on insurance companies, you'll get the competition needed to (theoretically) lower prices for everyone.
The difference is he KNOWS he paid for it through taxation, as does every other Canadian know that from having voted for it to be enacted across Canada.

Yeah in America we believe in paying for healthcare when we need it....not paying every year even if we don't need it via taxes.

You can find anything you want to "prove" your points. The USA is MUCH MUCH higher than Canada in quality and we lead the world by leaps and bounds in Choice and in Science and Technology categories.
USA #4 overall on this, Canada #17. I don't think you can argue that the USA has much better quality than Canada and of course you wouldn't argue that we lead by far and away in science and innovations over Canada.
Where the usa always gets dinged on those lists is "cost." AGAIN: You get what you pay for!

Go to Google and look up diversity. The USA has twice as much as Canada as a whole.

Yeah why don't you zoom in on Toronto's china town and use that as the representative of Canada as whole?
Who would even argue that the USA isn't WAY more diverse than Canada overall?
