Liberty allows for stupidity as long as it doesn't restrict the liberty of others. If someone wants to drink Drano to cure a headache... go for it. If someone wishes to commit suicide... go for it. If someone wants to play with voodoo dolls and run brick sand around his or her house... go for it. That's the way liberty works. Assuming it is a personal choice that directly affects only the self. When it starts negatively affecting others, that is when others have the right to stop it.

That was a great episode last week about the left's war on science. It's been noted from as far back as 2013 like here in Scientific American.

Figures.

Well, his lawyers have defended him in court by saying no reasonable person would believe what he says as factual.

HAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That should be a warning to all, because that article is from 2013. In 2021, Scientific American has gone just as woke as all the other science publications, the very thing they warned about

"The popular term “quantum supremacy,” which refers to quantum computers outperforming classical ones, is uncomfortably reminiscent of “white supremacy”
https://dougsanto.com/2021/02/24/sci...woke-insanity/

- Scientific American 2/24/21

"“climate anxiety [is] just code for white people wishing to hold onto their way of life or get ‘back to normal,’ to the comforts of their privilege,” and “Climate anxiety can operate like white fragility, sucking up all the oxygen in the room and devoting resources toward appeasing the dominant group.”"

- Scientific American 4/4/21

He lost me with the nonsense statement "Whereas conservatives obsess over the purity and sanctity of sex". and his attempt to place them on the high moral horse history tells us they have no clue how to ride.
