Take a look around the world and you see several of the wanna-be dictators who followed Trump's lead, who are now under fire and about to get the boot, such as Netanyahu in Israel and Bolsonaro in Brazil. This illegitimate and unsavory type of "populism" has had its brief time in the spotlight and is now on an express route to the political graveyard. The band of misfits who still swear allegiance to Trump, resemble something out of a cartoon.

Those of us who personally know one of these people can only stand back and gaze in wonderment how people who previously seemed rational can have fallen into such a state. There's one in my neighborhood, whose wife and daughters have gotten the Covid vaccine. But he has not and will not! He explains this by saying that he's a Trump supporter. This is one of Trump's gifts to all of us. How many have died and will die because of his sabotage of our achieving an effective mass immunity in our country? Hopefully he and his collection of dangerous "alternate truths" will decline into just a bad footnote of history.

Trump, on the other hand, is always the topic of the day. He does something as simple as shutting down his blog, and it becomes the top story of the day. When the world wants to know what's going on in America, they listen and pay attention to Trump. Biden is clueless and has nothing to offer. Only words on a screen that are prepared for him. And he still finds a way to F that all up.

Trump, for all intents and purposes, is still the leader of the free world. God bless America!

You can play pretend along with trump. Reality isn't trump's strong point.

Has anyone reminded him that Trump got the vaccine?

Trump could have been a great president if he chose to be... governing all. Instead, he chose to focus on only his supporters and demonized the rest of our country who didn't support him. He was a president who didn't like criticism and couldn't handle it so his instinct was to lash out. This is not what the majority want in our president.

LOL ... commander bone spurs was never the leader of the free world.

In fact, the free world was laughing (hard) at the reckless, incompetent republican blowhard for the last four years.

Macron and Merkel were clearly co-leaders of the free world from 1/2017 to 1/2021.

JOE has obviously taken the reins now...

Only in thorougly MAGA-washed brains is Trump still the leader of the Free World. Actually, America was losing more freedoms under Trump than gaining - and stoking hatred and oppression against the opposition besides. Sure doesn't sound like the leader of the Free World to me. If anything, the most important free world country in Jan 2017 - Jan 2021 period was Germany. The leader of the free world would not agitate a crowd to storm the national legislative branch while certifying its electoral votes. Would this leader really inspire a crowd to engage in behavior leading to chants of "Hang Mike Pence!!!"? Or threaten the House Speaker or other congresspeople with death?

Who said he was? Not I. He sure had a lot of negative stuff to say about Canada though as your elected leader, so he's going to be fair game until his petals wilt.

It's a play on the word "icily" to make it rhyme with nicely and concisely.

You know - - when someone says something in a manner so as to frost your cojones.
