City crews arrived at the intersection known as George Floyd Square in Minneapolis, Minnesota, just before dawn on Thursday to remove concrete barriers, artwork, flowers and other items from the memorial. Activists and members of the community expressed concern that city workers began dismantling the memorial without advanced notice and before responding to a list of demands for justice made by neighbors, according to Sahan Journal. The city says it will reopen the intersection and work with a community group to preserve certain artifacts, according to reports.

Yes, I think what the cop did was wrong, and yes he should serve time, but I also don't think this criminal is a martyr to be worshiped. Had he got his dumb ass in the cop car, he'd still be alive.

Good. This criminal dirtbags 15 minutes of fame is long overdue to fizzle out. Fentanyl Floyd should be long forgotten already as a worthless piece of criminal filth he was. Good riddance to him and good riddance to his so called memorial.
Part of what this is - is promo-ing this new front security group that is supposed to be handling the security/policing. I think it's Agape -something. I can't remember the last word. But they supposedly were tasked with assembling the police forces to do whatever cleanup they deemed as necessary.
