The Democrats promote racism, cancel culture, white privilege and appointed people in the administration based on POC and gender, not qualifications. They throw more and more $$$, benefits, defund the police to get votes, so they can stay in power and control people. Their excuse for Voter ID is racist, because anyone has some form of ID, even a utility bill. Most counties provide ID free of charge. They don't want Voter ID because they can't commit election fraud.

You see the quandary this imposes on minority people? Whenever one gets hired that person is presumed by conservatives to be be unqualified and just selected on the basis of race. Meanwhile conservatives tout Ben Carson, Herman Cain and Alan Keyes, all whom have no discernible qualifications, as viable presidential candidates.

So Presidents shouldn't aggressively discuss race issues? Saying that talking about racism divides us, is that a way of dodging the fact that racism itself divides us? It wouldn't if we just didn't talk about it, especially at the Presidential level?
Presidents SHOULD make addressing racism and racial disparities an issue. In the past too many did not.

Alot in America has always been race-related. Race has been at the epicenter of many issues from day one in the USA. I'm sick of hearing about race too. Based on my own personal experiences, I don't always get the option to not hear about it. I get to hear about race all the time here on city-data.

Well there wasn't in most of the 70s, 80s , 90s, 2000s, 2010s. So a good 50 years before the dems decided to divide Americans from each other again.

Its sickening quite frankly. You're supposed to bring together as leaders, not divide them. Of course, this country is incapable of giving us great leaders in any sector. I haven't seen any good ones in years

Plenty of riots in the 70s, 80s, and after. Anyone remember the Rodney King riots of 1992? The Arthur McDuffie riots of 1980? Livernois-Fenkell riot of 1975?

Everyone is sick of this race talk but they are afraid to say so for fear of being called a racist.

I hope the Dems keep stepping in this sh*t they created because it's working against them.

Nothing like the atmosphere that has been manufactured now.
This big divide that has been created came from a lot of phoney story tellers.
