While I perfectly understand his thought process, which is that this whole pandemic is an overblown hoax, and masks and vaccines don’t work and aren’t even necessary, you’ve got to understand what you are dealing with.
I did the research and determined that vaccines, while worthless, are also harmless. Sure, you could be one of the few unlucky ones who had an adverse reaction, but you could also get hit by a bus on any given day, too.
But I got the vaccine even though privately I didn’t think it was necessary. I also wear the mask when I have to, even though I privately think they don’t work in the least.
So what he should’ve done is gotten the vaccine and went about his life.
I’ll bet he’s regretting his decision now. Of course, he can never admit that, though.
I’m guessing he is pointing to the few vaccinated persons who ended up contracting Covid. No one ever said the vaccine is 100% effective in preventing the disease.
This really angers me. All sorts of virtue signaling and “why wouldn’t he just get the vaccine??”
He’s young and will be fine. By getting it and getting over it, he’ll be in good shape going forward.
He’s already rich and successful.
He doesn’t want the experimental injection for which the long-term side effects are not yet known.
