Also, saying you get sundays off isnt some blessing. The work week is the same amount of day, they dont get an extra day off, they simply always get sunday off

Yes after the backlash in 2012, Chick Fil A stopped all donations to those groups fighting LGBTQ and the corporation distanced itself from the statements made by the founder and CEO.
Burger King is absolute bottom of the barrel garbage food. It's their business if they feel the need to virtue signal from their dwindling coffers but they won't be doing so with any help from me or my family.

what does a Chik-fil-a cost compared to the BK sandwich, the Popeye's sandwich, any other freshly-prepared piece of chicken breast sandwich? Is the weight of the chicken meat greater or less?

um, the Chick-fil-a app tells me the Spanish Fort location near you sells the sandwich for $4.19. A #1 (sandwich, fries, drink) is $6.89.
The argument is you should go places based on taste, not politics. That is the whole Chick fil a argument.
So why would people stop going there for this if not for choosing what you define as politics over taste???
I try to avoid places that advertise politics and social issues that don't align with mine.
I may not always be successful, but I try.
With that being said, I'm done with Burger King. Last few times I tried them, they left me disappointed, anyway ... CFA is a consistently good experience with a consistently good product.

That was nine years ago. I think people need to live in the now on this point.

I definitely believe that there are Americans who *need* to know the political ideology of the CEO of a fast food restaurant. They’ve become so reactive to any difference of opinion that the simple act of buying a frickin’ chicken sandwich requires opposition research beforehand.
To each their own. I personally could never live such a restrictive, punitive lifestyle myself.
