The Liquor and Cannabis Board (LCB) of Washington has approved a temporary allowance for cannabis retailers to offer “Joints for Jabs” promotions to support local vaccination efforts. The allowed promotions may provide one joint to an adult customer who received a COVID-19 vaccination at an in-store vaccination clinic.
This approval is effective immediately, optional for cannabis retailers and expires on July 12, 2021.
Gotta wonder just how long Inslee and the rest of the leftist tyrants are going to keep up the FUD-packing. The virus is dead, we hit herd immunity weeks ago and cases have been plummeting. The more the virus "dies out" the more shrill and desperate the left get to try to maintain power and relevance.
I honestly don't care one way or the other. If they are stupid enough to take a vaccine in exchange for a joint, that is their choice.
Personally, however, I wouldn't take the vaccine until at least next January for any amount of money. My chance of becoming seriously ill from COVID at this point is probably not greater than about 1 in 2,000 -- and I am beginning to think that it is not even that high.
(And, yes, I do still mask when required to do so.)
Buying people sure got cheaper. I remember when the idea of $1,200 a person was being thrown around. Now it’s joints, Krispy Kreme’s, and De Blasio fries.
