Is there a demonstrable link between the Russian government and "Darkside" or whatever the hacking group is called? Unlike FancyBear/CozyBear, I believe the answer is "no".

Ransomware attacks are not new. The fact that much of it comes out of Eastern Europe is, also, not new.
