So when it is acknowledged that bioweaponized coronavirus isn't going away, and is going to mutate and be with us like the common flu, does that mean we will be doing this every year? Basically taking on the responsibility of providing yearly coronavirus shots for half the globe's population? If so, I don't think it's unfair to ask... What's in it for us? And why should we be responsible for donating vaccines and not China? They are not exactly a poor, 3rd world country. But with democrats in control, that is where the USA is headed.
America first. But if we have excess because some Americans are too stupid to take the vaccine we need to get it into willing arms wherever they may be.
Very sensible and reasonable approach. As I’ve said before whether or not we like it rich countries are going to have to pay up to vaccinate people in poor countries if global immunity is to be reached in the near term.
The UK is also to donate 100 million vaccine doses.

The goose is cooked. NO-Morica is over as we know it. If you believe in the Bible the world is cooked too

"With great power comes great responsibility"
Uncle Ben.

This is an international thing. Thus far, the US,UK,Canada, Japan, Australia, NZ, UAE, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Portugal have all pledged surplus doses.
And exactly how much taxpayer money is going for this?
Don’t know.
Were you as concerned when Trump handed out surplus ventilators to other countries, like candy?
Russia was the first recipient.
