This is, literally, laugh out loud funny -- at least for the foreseeable future. Or maybe some extraterrestrial advanced beings might be able to offer our government some advice on this?
Gohmert was a judge. He's not some lame brain that managed to get elected. He's known for trolling people who say dumb things in testimony or have ideas that he thinks are stupid.
I watched his delivery of this. There was almost a smile but it was almost too deadpan. It does make me wonder if he's slipping a bit or if he just thinks the Bureau of Land Management shouldn't be expressing their dedication to fighting climate change.
Either way, it was a stupid thing to say that could easily be used against him (like poor Hank).
