Interesting. I don't know anything about the sexual identity politics of Iran other than it is a fundamentalist Shiite Muslim country so that homosexuality is prohibited. Strange that they would accept gender reassignment

Now, one thing that does bug me is that if some is, say gay, but they don't fit into the definition of the activists, say they are not out, and the activists treat them like just another unfeeling straight, can you imagine what hell they must go through? Sure, they aren't accepted by the main stream world, but to be equally tormented by the side that they are part of.....but they can't say?
It sucks to be "under cover" and sometimes, it really does hurt.

It's not a fly on the wall situation and it's not a campaign to eliminate homosexuality. Eliminating homosexuality would be a consequence of the activism if 100% successful which would be surgically transitioning every child who exhibit behavioral signs of the opposite sex, children who would normally grow up as gay adults on average

You haven't heard of trans activists advocating for puberty blockers in non-same gender affirming children?, even some having gone so far as to advocate that for all children so they can "decide for themselves" when they get older?
