You don't remember that both leaders advised they agreed to have their assistants in the relevant departments work on details? You don't remember that the ambassadors for both will be reinstated? You don't remember that the nuclear arms treaty talks will restart?

I'm going to say that there was positive movement. If anyone thought there would be a massive change of direction from either side, that is not how things work. But Putin knows that the USA is back with a professional and capable leader, and I suspect Biden knows that Putin has not changed much from his many devious ways.

What was accomplished other than a big photo opp?

Biden praised putin and didn't even have a presser with him.

Did you expect Biden to say it went poorly?
