By taking these actions it simply makes people not trust anything that government says... the reason there are so many unvaccinated is because shortsighted idiots think that cancel culture is a good idea... that the free exchange of ideas is so dangerous we can only allow establishment approved narratives to get any social media exposure. Good luck with that. It's a slippery slope that could lead to dangerous outcomes.

We're not talking about attacks on personal reputations here, just people's opinions and beliefs about treatments and vaccines and the like.
Now we're dipping into free speech territory.
If these companies want to regulate speech, then they need to start writing scripts for content producers. Otherwise, they need to quit pretending they're part of some public forum.
There's definitely a legal issue here.
Just think, there were times when Einstein, Tesla, Edison, Jobs, etc. were told they were wrong about things...
Wonder what the world would look like if they tucked their tail and walked off just because some yahoo at youtube suspended them for spreading "false" information.
