Lindell is angry at Fox News and Newsmax for not airing his conspiracy nonsense. Is Fox News and Newsmax "Big tech telling us what to think again?"

By taking these actions it simply makes people not trust anything that government says... the reason there are so many unvaccinated is because shortsighted idiots think that cancel culture is a good idea... that the free exchange of ideas is so dangerous we can only allow establishment approved narratives to get any social media exposure. Good luck with that. It's a slippery slope that could lead to dangerous outcomes.

They don't get a pass just because a bunch of idiots voted for them at one time. They are still responsible for their own actions and social media platforms still need to maintain standards.

You (and they) aren't the arbiters of what can and can't be said...
Last I heard customers need to obey terms of service. Have you heard any differently?

If these companies want to regulate speech, then they need to start writing scripts for content producers. Otherwise, they need to quit pretending they're part of some public forum.
There's definitely a legal issue here.

Just think, there were times when Einstein, Tesla, Edison, Jobs, etc. were told they were wrong about things...
Wonder what the world would look like if they tucked their tail and walked off just because some yahoo at youtube suspended them for spreading "false" information.
You're right; Galileo would have been banned for "misinformation."

I love to see far-right nutjob politicians get punished for spreading false information

YouTube is a privately-owned company, they can do whatever they want.
So Christian Bakeries can refuse to bake cakes for gay couples and the NFL can fire athletes who kneel during the national anthem?

Galileo was criticized because science was in conflict with religious views.

I would not compare Johnson to Einstein, he has no business promoting his theories on hydroxychloroquine.
