LOL

The FBI worked for Trump.

Are you suggesting the Proud Boys and the Oath Keepers are FBI?

Trumpers would be nothing without their fake news.
Bidenettes won’t be nothing without the cnn a branch of the DNC

In many cases the unindicted co-conspirators appear to be much more aggressive and egregious participants in the very so-called “conspiracy” serving as the basis for charging those indicted.

The question immediately arises as to why this is the case, and forces us to consider whether certain individuals are being protected from indictment because they were involved in 1/6 as undercover operatives or confidential informants for a federal agency.

Here it is useful to draw a distinction between two discrete categories of participants in the so-called Capitol Siege.

The first category is the group of mostly harmless tourists who walked through already opened doors and already-removed barricades, and at most were guilty of minor trespassing charges and light property offenses. The second group consists of those who were violent with police officers, broke down barricades, smashed windows, belonged to a “militia” group engaged in military-style planning prior to the event, discussed transporting heavy weaponry, and so forth.

Up until now, the overwhelming (perhaps exclusive) share of counter-establishment reporting on 1/6 has focused on absolving the first group. And this is a valuable thing. The notion that these harmless “MAGA moms” wandering around the Capitol were domestic terrorists engaged in an insurrection is absurd. That many of these people are being held in prison, without bail, under harsh conditions, amounts to an unacceptable and outrageous abuse of basic human rights.
it's too bad that gateway pundit and revolver news are so horrible to look at the websites and are written in such one-sided inflammatory ways (not that the NYT, WaPo, etc aren't one-sided and inflammatory too).

But, there are some facts and some possibilities that we should all be seeking the truth from.

1. It appears clear that Federal officials sought covert infiltration of several groups. There's nothing wrong with that.

2. Whatever the story/truth about unindicted co-conspirators is needs to see the light of day. Because of the undercover people led, encouraged, or carried out the violence against the LEO's that day, that's pretty freaking important.

3. The idea that Federal prosecutors seem to consistently seek no bail for those charged is ridiculous and without merit. How many "BLM protestors" that were charged with violent crimes were held without bail? Here's one example https://www.ajc.com/news/north-fulto...FDB4RH2QCBIWM/

but then, this article would counter what Revolver claims. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...cts-jail-trial

70% have gotten released. Still, it's a sadly humorous article to read, since there's one attorney arguing that Hispanics held without bail for immigration crimes should also be released.

Democrats do.

So what do you make of that?
I know you were addressing a different poster, and you are one of the resident lefties here, but do you ever see things from a neutral perspective?

The question is posed because according the Gov Cuomo (who is the lefts darling governor), he is opposed an independent commission to investigate him, because no investigation is independent. Frankly it is an absurd and hypocritical assertion, since he himself has called for investigations of other people. But as is typical, the MSM treats him with kid gloves compared to (R) politicians.

I lean right (especially in more recent years), but I would not have a problem with a truly independent investigation of every aspect of the incident, wherever that may lead.
That would include if there was any type of government involvement whether it being agitators among the group, or knowing in advance and allowing it to happen. So they could find Trump responsible, but they should also be at liberty to find Pelosi culpable as well.
After all, she is responsible for the capitol polices conduct and preparedness.

Thus a big question is who would appoint the independent council to investigate, and would they have free reign to look at everyone, including the majority party that would have more influence over who made up the council?
Or will be it pre-ordained by Pelosi & Co just to try and go after Trump for the umpteenth time.

There is apparently no lie that Democrat leftists will not tell, as illustrated above, yet again.

You no doubt take great pride in your many contributions to that vile legacy, including the comment quoted above.

Absolutely despicable.
