Dept of Education just approved Joe Biden's plan to forgive $500 BILLION in student loan debt. Now you get to pay for their student loan in addition to your own. Votes have consequences.
I don't have any student loan because as an oversea student there was not such a choice for me. My parents paid for my tuition in total.
How can I pay for other's student loan while I am saving for my own son's tuition fee and living cost?
And I was told for students whose parents making less than 130000 annually there would not be any tuition fee in many universities. So for the ones that needs help with paying off the student loan, will there be a family background check to make sure their parents can not afford to pay for them first?
The article is about students who were mislead by ITT Tech that the credits earned there could transfer to other colleges. ITT tech has always come off to me as the chiropractors of the college world, peddling nonexistent subluxations to their students. That said nobody forced them to attend there. The argument though is that they should have the debt forgiven because the college mislead and scammed them.

This goes back to the ITT Techical Institute closing down and only involves 18,000 loans.
I think I'd be embarrassed if I was the OP with such a spectacular mistake and failure to carefully craft a truthful topic.
