Trump and the GOP had 4 years to deal with Obamacare. At least the first year they had the votes. Repeal and replace was the mantra for how long? I was hoping they would succeed. But Trump bullied his way into the White House and you can't use McCain as a punching bag to get votes then expect him to do what he is told with Obamacare. Trump was a novice politician who did not understand how to play the game. Its one of the biggest failings of Trump as POTUS. And his minions are afraid to tell the truth on this.

Trump from day one in the WH should have gotten a replacement plan together something so good that even McCain could not have voted against it. And Trump should have made amends with McCain. No excuse with the errors made on this. There was no replace plan. There never was.

Obamacare is not going away. The SCOTUS sealed that. The only question is how long until socialized medicine is implemented. Its a matter of time.

Actually it was over 10 years going back to Paul Ryan's plan that really wasn't much of a replacement. They always claimed that they needed repeal first before they could come up with a new plan, no one actually believed they had a replacement. The need to develop a national plan goes back to GW Bush but that went no where, then along came the Tea Party.

If Republicans hate it so much, they should have repealed it between 2017-2019 when they held the Presidency and both houses of Congress. They didn't repeal Obamacare. They seem to want SCOTUS to do it for them, ostensibly so they don't have to deal with the electoral backlash. If it's the Supreme Court's fault, then the GOP can play the, "It wasn't me!" game.

Love it or hate it, nobody has the stones to fully repeal Obamacare.
It needs to go bro and pitals need to charge a fair amount. Not some crazy charge of 800 smackers for a box of tissues. Or 1000's a nite dwight for a stay in the pital when it should only cost $50 a nite.

Not sure if the "left" was panicked about the Supreme Court but we are observing that it is essentially the last pillar left upholding the word of law and the Constitution. With both the Executive branch and the Legislative branch one election away from establishing an authoritarian State, it is all we have left between us and demagoguery.

Reality is that if the Republicans hold both houses, they will likely choose not to certify any legitimately elected Democrat in the next Presidential election. We saw the how that was going to work during the trial run back in January. It is then we will see how well our fragile system of checks and balances really works. This is the coming Constitutional crisis that will tell the tale for the USA.

We already have socialized medicine or at least socialized health insurance. It's called Medicare, and I have nothing against it.

Everyone likes Medicare, they should expand an option for those under the age requirement and that would eliminate the insurance companies.
