There are still a lot of us out here who view Marxism (and its bastardized offspring -- socialism, "liberalism", and "wokeism") as a near-absolute evil -- not quite as foul as Nazism, but borrowing from the same playbook -- and within the limits of not doing direct, unprovoked, pre-meditated harm to another individual for his/her thoughts, we will do whatever we legally can to drive it from the face of the earth.

But I also recognize that theories don't always work in real life -- that existence in the modern "post-industrial" world is fragile. So I have no problem with a "safety net" -- left to the private sector as much as possible and carefully policed to discourage the "gainfully indolent".
Put the "philosophy" of Leftism is obvious -- "The end justifies the means" -- and the behavior of the looniest of the Looney Left and their pointing, grunting, slobbering sycophants (Juneteenth, for example) makes it clear that no one who opposes their fantasies is safe from their enmity and hatred.
So we might as well (subject to the limits outlined above) return the favor.
