Much of the Evangelical Fundamentalist sect of Christianity, who would be attending something like this, have in many ways, lost their legitimacy and certainly any claims to moral high ground. This type of behavior is just an example of a much larger pattern. If they're going to treat one of their own "flock" this way, what does that say about how they will treat their other neighbors who are much more different than them compared to Pence?
This type of behavior is also just one more example of why people are turning away from them.

Pence did not do the righteous thing and that was to send it back to the legislature because the courts according to the constitution had no power to change the voting system. It was done illegally PERIOD. Pence will reap what he sowed. He was a coward.
The laws were changed illegally. They counted votes days after the election and vans of votes were brought in.
The reason the mail in ballots were not counted as they came in is because they wanted to see how many votes Trump had. Fact is they wanted to keep adding votes .
DeSantis had mail in ballots in Florida and they counted them as the got them..the dems cheated and set up the mail in count last to make sure they had enough votes to pass Trump in certain states that came in late..the last ones that were counted were the ones that cheated. This is why they added days to count.

You’ve fallen for Trump’s lies in the service of the noble defense of his ego needs. Pence had no power to send anything back. Had he attempted to act outside his constitutional role an objection would have been lodged and he would have been removed, and Chuck Grassley would have continued counting the electoral votes and read Joe Biden as the winner to end the session.
