It's crazy. This is why good decent people don't want to run anymore. Pence was loyal to Trump for 4 years. He was discreet and never spoke against Trump. The certification was not up to him.
Compared to Biden, Trump, Harris, Pelosi, etc., the most dignified and sober person was Pence.
Pence did not do the righteous thing and that was to send it back to the legislature because the courts according to the constitution had no power to change the voting system. It was done illegally PERIOD. Pence will reap what he sowed. He was a coward.
There was nothing Pence could do because he had no authority to do anything. I don't like him but to call him a coward means you know nothing about how this process works.
Obama relinquished the office willingly to Trump, since he was constitutionally required to do so. In doing so he displayed the rational deference to our constitutional principles required of his presidential oath, something Donald Trump could not muster the internal courage to do when it was his turn.
