That is still a matter of debate.
It would certainly give the dems something else to challenge... which you would think given the history Trump would wish to avoid , but then again we are talking about Trump.

Trump has lost a lot of moderate voters. The whole Jan 6 thing didn’t sit well with too many people for Trump to ever be elected again. Desantis should just wait as he is young for Trump to either lose or serve one term. After that Desantis is free to go for two full terms.
