That's like an irish person getting mad when their employee says free alcohol and potatoes dishes on St Paddy's Day.

Yes, I'm Irish.

Why didn't they just ask their employees, they are already there and free advisors. I personally don't get the outrage to the point someone would quit but people quit for all types of reasons and scapegoat stuff to justify.

Just go "Hey taking a poll here, should we change our menu on Juneteenth to Watermelon and Fried Chicken or leave it the same". Would literally take 5 min to avoid dramas and if no employees voice a concern then at least you can say "Hey we asked".

That's hysterical

The "jump" into a new holiday that the majority of people don't know anything about is also hysterical. It's not really even a "black" holiday

I sincerely hope that most black people I've known over the years haven't fallen for this crap about having an HUGE chip on your shoulder and endlessly looking for excuses to get offended. Most blacks that I've known are completely sane and I really doubt they all just lost their damn minds and bought into the "oppression Olympics" crap.

If fried chicken, watermelon and hot sauce are "black people" stuff, then I guess I'm black and just now realized it.

White folk here in Florida love fried Chicken and watermelon. It's more a southern thing than anything else at this point. Even the SuperMarkets and WalMart have Fried Chicken cooking all day.

People "outraged" over having fried chicken and watermelon on the menu, are themselves the ones who are racist.

Normal people, when presented with a menu including fried chicken and watermelon, immediately think of a nice picnic, fun, volleyball, basketball etc.

Racists, when they see the same menu, immediately think of black people. They are the bigots.
