Look..guy wants to sell his book so of course these outrageous stories are going to come out right in time for publishing.

Happens every time some big shot wannabe writes a political "tell all" book.

The story broke in February of 2020 -- a full two months before the rate of new infection was established, and the conditions "favoring" the spread of the plague were known.

And although he matriculated successfully at Penn's Wharton School of Business, the formative years of Trump's education can hardly be compared to those of the typical Ivy League elitist.

When any organization is confronted with a major threat of which knowledge is incomplete and still accumulating, the usual recommendation is to pursue the safest course, with stronger measures held as a last resort which, after consulting with those better-qualified to understand the threat, is exactly what Trump did.

But of course, in the world of "pop wisdom" and 20/20 hindsight, the shallow fears of anyone who read Stephen King's The Stand (forty years ago) also have to be factored into the equation.

I actually enjoyed reading some of his tweets and then the press getting all out of sorts on it.
We had 4 years of no war. Not too many talk about that.

[quote=atltechdude;61296146]Trump’s insane comments and musings like this were leaked regularly during his term. Righties assured us at each step that the reports were fake news, and we had TDS if we believed them. Obviously this was just a coping mechanism to avoid admitting that they elevated a woefully unfit and unqualified person to the office.[/

If that was true, the media via CNN would have made it front page news. The only thing the left would have been upset about is they didn’t come up with that idea themselves.

And as shocking as the truth is, Trump was the first president in over forty years to have not gotten the US involved into a new war or conflict. This explains why so many of the (R) & (D) military–industrial complex types hated Trump.

Iran has always give conservatives a hardon for war. But I think China is looking sexy this year.
Trump didn't kill Americans with drone strikes, Obama did. So I call that a positive.

He would have probably given Jered Kushner the nuclear codes and told him “good luck kid”.
That post was so all over the place, I don't know the point you were trying to make. Mayhap you could just edit you post and just say "0range man bad" and be done with it? Or "Trump 2024."

while I'd rather not see a Trump 2024, either.

2020, was the year our childish government turned a global health crisis into a political tool to make each other look bad. And we suffered because of it.

I agree with you, but I would say Trumpers rather than Righties.

There are people on the right who can’t stand Trump and would never vote for him.
