NYC last week. Jeep purposely plows into 6 people.

Germany this week. Mass kniving kills 3 injures 5

Criminals do criminal things. It's the desire and intent. Bans on most things don't work. One day a terrorist will wind up setting off a low yield nuke deadly nuke after thinking and planning about all the death & destruction they will cause, want to cause.

In the meantime those evil gunsthings, objects etc. Banning the thought to kill is all but impossible unless heavily medicated.

Guns, knives, matches, etc., are inanimate objects. When they get in the hands of the wrong people, all hell breaks loose.

Exactly how many people can you bring down with your knife, match, or rock you picked up off the side of a road, BEFORE you are brought down? A machine gun or even an automatic pistol is a different story. Even if you were an expert battle hardened swordsman, guessing at dozen or two. How many mad kitchen knife wielders are experts battle hardened and efficient at killing with their weapon? How about if somebody is fighting back with a stray cobblestone? Takes far less skill to kill quickly with rapid fire gun. And far harder to fight back effectively.

Its like comparing a military flame thrower to a match. Just cause matches are legal, doesnt mean we should legalize flame throwers.

Notice back when people had more sense in early 20th century, and techology was rapidly advancing, they made it ILLEGAL to own machine guns capable of shooting multiple bullets in a short period of time. It didnt seem wise to have everybody with military grade weapons able to hold off dozens of cops. As far as fighting a tyrannical govt, if that became necessary, sure some could use a sharpened stick of wood to get a gun from some poorly trained officially sanctioned gun carrier.

So sure interpret the second amendment as free for all to own guns, though pretty obvious it was to ensure local OFFICIAL MILITIAS like modern National Guard, meaning the Federal Govt didnt have sole right to an Army. But only gun technology available in 1776. Let both cops and criminals take minutes to reload for a single shot, maybe give them time to think over their actions.

Though hate to mention, somebody already left that barn door open. Modern weapons already available in vast excess even if manufacture stopped immediately. Banning them would only drive up their price on used/black market. The real way to control modern weapons is to ban sale of all ammunition to anybody but the govt. You can still melt your own lead balls for your 1776 musket. Little harder to make uniform modern ammunition. Reloading it yea, but try manufacturing the whole thing from scratch in your basement including gun powder. If that were possible, people wouldnt be complaining of ammo shortages.
This is utter regurgitated nonsense, where to begin.

Flame throwers are not illegal
Machine guns are not illegal, you need a license to own one, like a car
Militia in the second amendment does not mean the national guard
No where does it mention firearms in the second amendment... it mentions ARMs. Learn what this means historically and applies to modern defensive weapons.

Clearly you want or support repeal of the second amendment and gun confiscation. Admit it, you make stuff up and sell it as truth. That's called lying.

The Supreme Court`s Heller decision affirmed your right to play with guns and it affirmed our right to regulate them. If the second amendment was a good thing other countries would want the same. They don`t. We`re an example to the world of what NOT to do regarding guns.

Anti American babble

It's the law of the land and self defense is a inalienable right, which we find this truth to be self evident. Other nations keep their populace unarmed and they're historically guilty of committing genocide. See history for context.... this includes the woke EU.

Remove the 8 major cities in the US or just their areas with violent subcultures ... and the US is WAY down the list.

Admit it ... you're for gun confiscation, that too is self evident.

It still takes someone wanting to kill another for no reason, regardless of the implement used.
