Macaroni and cheese is another issue. The "black folks macaroni and cheese" I knew as a child in the 50s was a macaroni, cheese, and egg soufflé that was thick and firm. The kind of stuff that comes in a box was for white folks.

Well, some places have also been nailed for attempting Asian foods on Asian holidays.

I certainly don't think black people should be annoyed when a company is so obviously trying to do the right thing with right motives.

OTOH, America has, in the past, perpetuated racial stereotypes with obnoxious racist food jokes against both blacks and Asians, which hasn't been done against those other ethnicities.

The difference should, however, be clear.
