Yes, at some point these people causing this chaos are going to get the figurative Mussolini treatment, and maybe not so figurative if you follow me here.

A lot of people are upset and the large silent majority is slowly waking up this game.

Death of Benito Mussolini

In the evening of 28 April, the bodies of Mussolini, Petacci, and the other executed fascists were loaded onto a van and trucked south to Milan. On arriving in the city in the early hours of 29 April, they were dumped on the ground in the Piazzale Loreto, a suburban square near the main railway station. The choice of location was deliberate. Fifteen partisans had been shot there in August 1944 in retaliation for partisan attacks and Allied bombing raids, and their bodies had then been left on public display. At the time, Mussolini is said to have remarked "for the blood of Piazzale Loreto, we shall pay dearly".

Their bodies were left in a heap, and by 9:00 a.m. a considerable crowd had gathered. The corpses were pelted with vegetables, spat at, urinated on, shot at and kicked; Mussolini's face was disfigured by beatings. Allied forces began arriving in the city during the course of the morning and an American eyewitness described the crowd as "sinister, depraved, out of control". After a while, the bodies were hoisted up on to the metal girder framework of a half-built Standard Oil service station, and hung upside down on meat hooks.

Eric Adams, a former cop and Republican just won the NYC Dem Mayoral Primary. His opponent was endorsed by AOC and Elizabeth Warren. The Dem far left isn't good about keeping quiet when they should, so will be interesting to see how this gets handled as the party tries to change its messaging on cops.

Let's face it. They are screwed.

Remember they were all about defunding the police during all the riots. Then they noticed they were losing in the polls so all of a sudden they were for the police. When it gets closer to 2022, they will be all about the police.

Bingo 2020 was the 1st POTUS win for party out of power while losing House seats in decades. Plus the Dems under-achieved in their best positioned year in the Senate.

Suburban voters almost always are a larger % of the vote in off years, as urban folks go back to ignoring elections. Most in the suburbs would never live in cities, in no small part, due to urban violence. Those voters view police forces as allies, not enemies.

GOP candidates should be playing video of 2020 riots all the time during the 2022 election cycle, along with liberal clown pols calling to defund the police mixed in.

Let's go to the video tape and say nothing should be their M.O.

It will be as effective as LBJ's Mushroom cloud ad, or the ads discussing Michael Dukakis' pardons.

, Dems own the 2020 riots 100%.

All the Democrats need to do is run ads gloating over how they won by cheating last time, and then suggesting that they are going to do it even more this time. They very likely will, too.

Adams is a warning shot regarding Defund the Police. If the message failed in NYC, it will fail everywhere.

Become law-abiding libs, and you will not fear the police.

Well when it came to shouts of Defunding the Police we also have to remember that it was coupled with adding more restraints to the Police and how they do their jobs. During many of the riots, looting, destruction of public and private property and arson the elite elected of the most affected cities essentially told their Police to stand down and give the mob room to destroy. If you remember in Seattle the Police were forced to abandon their precinct building so CHOP/CHAZ could take over and occupy several blocks. What did the mayor call it? The Summer of Love?

I agree with you IF "by other factors" you mean the Democrats that have become soft on crime, while propping up the criminals as victims while casting aside the real victims?

Welp, I guess we now know how the Dem's will try to counter this one! The new narrative is that it's actually been the Republican's who've wanted to defund the police all along! Chris Wallace says so. Jen Psaki says so. And now Twitter is starting to say so.

I don't think I've ever been as frustrated and angry as watching this "save our ass" spin by people on TV with those smug faces. I feel murderous.
