For those who haven't seen it -- and I am now in the process of watching it in pieces as it is almost two hours long -- here is a very recent interview with Dr. Malone that took place on July 21.
Dr. Malone is the discoverer of in-vitro and in-vivo RNA transfection and the inventor of mRNA vaccines, while he was at the Salk Institute in 1988. His research was continued at Vical in 1989, where the first in-vivo mammalian experiments were designed by him. The mRNA, constructs, reagents were developed at the Salk institute and Vical by Dr. Malone. The initial patent disclosures were written by Dr. Malone in 1988-1989. Dr. Malone was also an inventor of DNA vaccines in 1988 and 1989. This work results in over 10 patents and numerous publications, yielding about 7000 citations for this work. Dr. Malone was also an inventor of DNA vaccines in 1988 and 1989."
On his personal website, Twitter, and LinkedIn, Dr. Robert Malone has been promoting himself as the inventor of mRNA vaccines. This is misleading. In 1989, Malone published a paper titled "Cationic liposome-mediated RNA transfection." While this paper is an example of his important contribution to the then-emerging field, it does not make him the inventor of mRNA vaccines.
It is Dr. Katalin Karikó and her collaborator Dr. Drew Weissman who are more commonly credited with laying the groundwork for mRNA vaccines.

I'm not. I'm simply saying he "seems" to trust enough to take it himself. Our statements aren't mutually exclusive. The fact that there are so many science deniers out there, it should be comforting that a founding father of mRNA technology trusts the vaccine enough to take it himself.
To me that's the bigger statement on vaccine trust.
That mainly would be people that don't have, as they are not informed by powers that be, proper and complete info on the science.
Mostly being told, it's good take it, by rote.

He did say in one of the interviews that he took the vaccine before he learned the many serious adverse effects, such as the ones discussed in Darkhorse Podcast with Weinstein and Kirsch.
