Jordan is in denial about Jan 6th and the election results, who in their right might would trust him on it? I really have to question McCarthy putting him on there. The only reason I can even think of is being an FSU person to cripple it. Which that in it of itself is disgusting.
Exactly. When a jury is picked, the prosecution will always reject a juror who doesn't believe the crime was a crime. (See how many hippies in tie-dies they'll get to convict someone of possession.)

This was a set up, McCarthy never wanted the hearings and he knew Jordan would be rejected. No instigator of the insurrection who voted against certification on Jan 6 belongs on the committee.
These were the same ground ruled for the Benghazi committee, 12 members, 5 from the minority party after consultation the majority.
If McCarthy was serious about a thorough investigation Liz Cheney would be on the committee.

Republicans had their chance but blocked a plan for an independent commission to investigate the attack. Now they are crying about it and feeling left out.
What's the problem? You have an issue with someone that has a very different opinion? The 1/6 investigation is nothing but a lame attempt by the Democrat's to deflect on how miserably their policies are! Crime, border and inflation are all a disaster under their watch!
I thought Pelosi's actual job was that of speaker of the house. Not the character assessment manager.
Pelolsi wont rest until she has something to blame Trump with and make it stick. I think she is going to die in congress trying. I really think her and her ilk are hiding something serious and they are so scared to death of being exposed. That is why they want Trump gone short of dead because he exposed Washington for the cesspool it is.

The courts are already handing down "punishments" on the people who were charged, what's the point of another investigation by people who have no investigative training beside trying to create another hit to Trump and the people who supported his platform? I'm equally sure they will blame white people and stoke the racial divide and probably work climate change and gun control into it as well.
