Ex cops don't survive long behind bars.....at a minimum the other inmates will make his life a living hell.

What is a "regular American?"

Verdict to be announced in 15 minutes. Court in recess until then.

Did anyone else see Chauvin's very brief statement a couple minutes ago? He said he couldn't give a full statement to the court due to additional legal "issues". What does that mean?

His attorney gave a fairly lengthy statement about the difficult place the court is in, in sentencing. That the country is divided and no matter the sentence, some will think it's too lenient and some will think it's too harsh.

Really? Are there studies you can link because I'd be interested in seeing the stats behind this.
