He's the first US President to suggest using nuclear weapons on US soil against its own citizenry, so at least Joe Hiden has that going for him.
What's shocking to me is Hiden was VP for 8 years and is now President and doesn't even understand the nuclear arsenal under his control.
Your ICBMs/SLBMs and nearly all gravity bombs are fixed yield. The only variable yield warheads are the are air-launched cruise missiles (0.3 kt to 80 kt), sea-launched cruise missiles (0.3 kt to 100 kt) and one gravity bomb (0.3 kt to 100 kt).
The ICBMs/SLBMs will generate an EMP that wipes out the US in a 1,000-2,000 mile radius around the target zone, if St Louis was the target, everything east of the Rockies is now in the Stone Age.
Since he mentioned F-15s, that warhead is designed to be released at 50,000-60,000 feet and detonated at 30,000 feet.
30,000 feet is just below the "buffer zone" which is 5-11 miles above the Earth's surface. The Compton Effect doesn't work as well there, so it doesn't generate a wide-scale EMP, only locally around the target.
Typical double-standard hypocrisy sort of rhetoric. Seriously, has Biden forgotten about the ongoing war in the Middle East? In 2002 Biden was one of the 77 Senators to give Bush approval to invade Iraq. The US forces wiped out the Iraq army quickly but what has been going on since then? A rag tag bunch of guerilla "freedom fighters" have been kicking our butts with rifles, RPG's and IED's. The Taliban doesn't have nukes (yet).
How about the Vietnam war Joe? The VC might have been better equipped and organized than the Taliban or isis but they still inflicted huge damage and went on to win that war. They didn't have nukes or F15's.
The Founding Fathers penned the Second amendment to protect America with it's citizen army against all enemies both foreign and domestic. China might have a 2 million man army but we have our own plus 70 million gun owners that would go to work defending America if an enemy landed on it.
What Joe also has forgotten is that in 1776 the colonists opposed the greatest army/navy in the world and they used the same rifles/weapons that the army had.
The brave Patriots and the "mob" that stormed the Capital had something in common and that is their hearts were filled with Freedom.
We need nukes and F-15s...did the "rioters" have those???
If the U.S. armed forces are ordered to take out a number of neighborhoods in Washington DC, in order to make sure no more riots like Jan. 6 at the Capitol happened... how would the troops react? How would their sergeants and lieutenants react? Load up their weapons, get on the trucks, go in, and start shooting the people in ordinary neighborhoods like their own?
Biden might not have as many "F-15s and nuclear weapons" as he thinks. Or even regular troops, willing to obey that particular order, whether it's from the Commander-in-Chief or not.
