A San Francisco homeless encampment ie tents cost $60k per year per individual. That comes out to $5k a month. Camp includes toilets, showers, services and is considered 'safe'.
Those are cost per individual and a tent. The question is how much to rent porta potties, porta showers and security guards along with a lot or parking lot.
$5000 per month is still cheaper than tossing the criminal homeless into prisons.
I wonder how long it will be before the Dems step up with an idea to pay these homeless people? $1000 per week sounds about right and the state will save $1000 per month per person. but of course in San Fran $1000 per week is a pittance.

What to do what to do?
What you really mean is taxpayers pay the homeless. Personally I would go with Darwins evolutionary therory.
