I skipped high school for a day and had no where to go. It was my friends Idea and it was stupid. We walked around feeling guilty ad least I did because i too was a pretty good kid. The next day at school I was called down to the principals office and was told the truant officer saw my friend and I, that we played hooky ..was I surprised. What actually surprised me was the truant officer saw me and knew who I was!
I don't remember if they told my parents . I don't remember that part. Maybe it was so bad I blocked it out of my memory or they never told my parents.. I really don't know. I never did that again.
When I was in high school I would go off with a few friends at lunchtime and as we were walking the truant officer would see us and wave. He would tell my mother at times and others not. He didn't even have to look up our phone number after a while.
I just spent 3 days in the hospital on IV antibiotics after my 18 yr old maine coon bit my hand when i attempted to disentangle a fur clot under his chin.

I never met my father. He died when I was 11 months old, lived his life as an alcoholic with a violent temper. He actually shot at - with intent to kill - my brother a couple years before I was born. Another time he shot up my brother's bedroom. After my older brother moved out mom patched the bullet holes on the bed frame with wood putty, I used that bed until I was 19.
I lean slightly conservative/libertarian. I'm American.
