I'll have to look them up. Way back in the day, they had to create these historically white colleges because the other colleges wouldn't accept whites.
Bingo! Key on "way back in the day". Thats where any college that uses race or color to define itself belongs.

That's why they are called historically black colleges and universities. They all accept students of all nationalities they just acknowledge that they were founded by or originally were for the black community. I have never seen any university or college that doesn't acknowledge their beginnings. History is a part of the present too - it would be foolish to ignore that.

Way over.
Nope, not at all. Apparently my reply went over yours though.
Natalyjones explained it well. So again then, my question, which colleges call themselves "historically white"?
good question, what college would EVER call themselves a historically white college, or public school or golf course/club or restaurant ect. It just will not happen. Yes these colleges were created historically for blacks because there was a time they could not get into the other colleges (historically white).

Well if some places want to be called "historically black" why can't a place be called "historically white"????? Equality.

Right you are.....
These colleges USED to be mostly white. So lets call them that. Lets call them "historically white". We call other colleges "historically black". Lets call each what they really were in the past OR lets try living in the present and refer to neither type of college by race / color. Get it?????
