looks like 'but they called me a name!' is the newest excuse for delivering vicious beatings to 65 year olds.

Quote:
Hassaneen explained to the Post that what happened that night was that a woman yanked an American flag off of his cart and demanded a Pride flag be flown instead. He told the woman not to do that to his cart. His friend said the same.
The woman seemingly didn’t like the response, and assaulted the food vendor, throwing hot sauce at him, and then becoming more violent. It left Nader with blood on his face, a damaged lip, and cuts on his head.

Just one more example of the tolerance of the Left. If this was just ONE instance, I would have sympathy for the victim, but just basically shrug it off as the actions of a mentally unstable person. However, unfortunately, there are many examples of this kind of thing happening whenever activists march or protest.

And, yes, conservatives have often shown similar examples of intolerance, but it seems to me that in recent years, this is happening more with liberal protesters than with conservative protesters.

He should have known that displaying the American flag would offend the mostly peaceful parade attendees.

This is America after all!

And it is going to take the country awhile to calm down and work together after those terrible four years.
Or maybe it's the result of 16 months of non-stop fear mongering, forced isolation, forced unemployment, and the removal of normal life from the Covid mitigation measures. Human beings are social by nature. We need to see each other's faces and to interact with one another for mental well being.Having everyone masked had the side effect of maintaining a constant level of fear, and dehumanizing one's neighbor. Whatever one's thoughts are about the necessity of Covid mitigation, the side effects were corrosive for civil society. It's never been done before, and the social unrest is also happening in countries that have nothing to do with Trump.

I avoid the South End of Boston like the plague on gay pride day. When gays are in any kind of numbers they can act like a bunch of as-holes.

It took only 5 posts before we get the obligatory "It's Trumps Fault".

Trump had NOTHING to do with this. This was (likely) a member of the LGBTQ+ Community. A community claims that they are all about tolerance and acceptance yet apparently the tolerance only goes as far as being tolerant if you do what they want.

People on the right have had situations where they are not tolerant. But the difference is that in those cases there are huge calls for justice and that these people made an example of.

With cases like this, as will likely be the result here. There will be no mass outcry to have these people arrested, no MSM media outlet will be posting screenshots of the video asking to help identify the people involved. This victim doesn't meet their profile, he is (likely) a legal immigrant who is actually trying to do an honest day's work to provide a living.

If by chance there are arrests(as of the article there were no arrests yet), their charges would likely be dropped or drastically reduced all in the name of "tolerance".

It’s been happening long before Trump. The only thing Trump did that caused this was beating Hillary and the radical left became unhinged.

lol, are you joking? Were these BLM and ANTIFA members Trump supporters? Any excuse to defend these leftist fools while they burned, looted and destroyed cities, right?
