This whole thing about White supremacists being the number one domestic terror problem has been around fo quite a while. Obama hammered on it really hard though it was being spouted under W at the jump. And in all this time how many White supremacist domestic terror attacks have their been? And no, I don't count lone shooters like Dillon Roof as being a planned and orchestrated attack.
One nut job with a FB "manifesto" with no clear ties to a particular ideologically centered organized group just don't count. The Miami nightclub shooter and the 2015 pair in San Bernadino do count. They had ties to overseas terrorist groups. And those two incidents are the only actual "terrorist" attacks that have been carried out here. And they were not White supremacists.
I find it rather incensing that DHS, the FBI, and all the other alphabet agencies keep saying that White supremacists are the big bogeyman while ignoring domestic based Islamawacko terror cells. Cells who's manpower is being boosted astronomically by Biden throwing the Southern border wide open allowing ME terrorists to slip in with all the illegals from Central America and Mexico. They blend right in. Doesn't take much at all for a ME male to look just like a Hispanic one.
But we're all supposed to be so terribly afraid of a bunch that can barely spell cat That hang out in backwoods or swamp shanties Lighting crosses on fire and masturbating to pictures of Eva Braun. If not Hitler himself. Personally I'd dive for cover and reach for my pistol a lot faster if I hear "Allaua Akhbar" than "White power." screamed out in a strident manner. Though I would draw and shoot at either with equal zeal should a clear target be presented one is all mouth and the other likely to have 5 pounds of comp B and C4 daisy chained with det cord. strapped to himself.
These White power and neo Nazi groups are scattered, unorganized, not even close to as well regulated (meaning equipped and proficient) as the ME wackos, nor are they so motivated they are willing to die as the Islamawackos. I'm not sure what your intention was with the post, but if the media is focusing on other sources of devastation and violence, I condemn those as well. As stated below, my post was pointing out that people who think white supremacists can't be violent threats are inaccurate in their beliefs. Also, what gets reported in the media is frequently a poor proxy of what is going on at times, because the reporting swings so wildly between what gets covered all the time or never depending on what audience the source is trying to reach to drum up ratings, leading to more advertising revenue.

Difficult to imagine "white-supremacists"(they don't exist) picking July 4th as the day to carry out some sort of political attack. Seems counterproductive.

Every time we have a thread like this, I must point out that CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC etc.... are NOT reporting on terror acts by white supremacists individuals, much less groups of them
So either:
1) CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC etc.... are protecting white supremacists.
Or...
2) Or the truth is that there really are so pitifully few white supremacists to speak of, so there are no news stories to report on.
My money is on #2, the white supremacists represent such a tiny minority, that they pretty much keep to themselves, and we have nothing to fear from them.
BLM, antifa, and even the random teenagers playing the knock out game, are more of a threat
