Who’s gonna pay for it?

Her dad gets like $10,000 a month plus.

Her lawyer gets I think $10,000 a week.

Etc etc etc.

Conservatorship should only be for those who can't function. It is even difficult to get it for a dementia patient. If they can answer basic questions like who are you and what year is it, they are pretty much considered competent. Normally, we don't take away peoples rights, but there are exceptions and that is when there is money involved.

I know someone who has a conservator but I think they may have chosen it because they have a mental illness and know they make poor decisions. However, the conservator is not doing a good job, letting the property deteriorate. I see that and wish I could help people like this who are getting shafted by a lawyer/slacker not doing their job to look after the person's affairs.
