In America anyone can become wealthy. In China only those who get the approval of the CCP can achieve the same.
The USA has one of the lowest class mobility rates of the developed world. China has been creating far more millionaires, while in the USA, the class you are born into is very likely the class you will live your life in, although falling is considerably easier than climbing. There are reasons why so many people lost their favorable view of capitalism.
Nations must pursue their national interests. The national interests of every country is money and power.
Communism is never communism. Communism, fascism, etc, is just totalitarian control of the economy by the state. The state then pools the resources of the nation to the most productive ends. Including establishing and regulating for-profit corporations and providing them state-financing to make them artificially competitive in a global market.
Wall Street wanted to profit off of a market of 1.4 billion people, invested hundreds of billions of dollars, and made a substantial return on that investment. But by doing so, they created a monster. Instead of China becoming dependent and thus subservient to us. We have become dependent and thus subservient to them.
They aren't becoming like us, we're becoming like them.

To avoid eventually falling well behind China, the U. S. better start adopting more progressive government policies to improve quality of life as well as the economy, such as better maintenance and expansion of the infrastructure for starters.
A political rally from someone who isn't running for office isn't news. Complain all you want about them showing whatever rhetoric from the leader of China but I don't get why you think Trump's rally is news.
China isn’t Marxist. China is even more ruthlessly capitalist than the USA.
Not only that but their culture is very homogeneous... the polar opposite of the melting pot the left are promoting. I can actually see the wisdom in this to be honest.
You think they are going to allow hundreds of thousands of refugees to come in and suck from their social programs while not being able to speak the language or assimilate into their culture? See what they were doing to the uyghurs. To be honest, reading about the country, I really want to visit for a month or three. They may be the next global superpower with the way the west is going woke.... either that or their young people will go woke and overthrow the CCP and the whole world will go woke. Honestly I hope not, because the direction the elites are taking western culture doesn't appeal to me in the least.... destroying gender roles and encouraging kids to change genders and messing with gender identity... the CRT nonsense, BLM, woke culture, the whole lot of it. Identity politics. Destroy the strong culture by promoting weak cultures, which will cause many of these nations to slowly decay, the idea of reparations, UBI, equity... the sexualization of the culture was bad enough, it's way past that now.
