People in general are getting more and more immature. I stepped outside last night and it could have been the D Day landing along with something going off that sounded just like German 88’s. These idiots spend thousands of dollars on illegal fireworks and the cops do nothing.
We played with firecrackers and bottle rockets when we were kids but by the time high school rolled around it wasn’t cool anymore and ITS STILL NOT.
I feel for dogs and people with PTSD from warfare a hell of a lot more than 50 year old clowns who can’t grow up.

Thank you. I used to live 2 blocks from a Navy base where they shot off 16 in. guns for decades. They shook the house but overall the noise didn't bother my animals. Last night some yahoo was driving a truck-mounted rig around the neighborhood and shooting off mortars that had them bouncing off the walls and hiding under beds. There were plenty of legal fireworks displays at the public parks - those should have been sufficient for anyone, not to mention a lot safer.

I was up till midnight last night and slept on the couch with my dogs they were so upset.

We have a local ordinance that prohibits fireworks within 150 feet of any structure, which effectively eliminates the entire town. And you're right, the cops don't care. So much for law and order ...
Ever hear of pets climbing out of their skin and going crazy because they're terrified? Ever hear of a war vet shake and tremble when they hear the sounds of fireworks? I make no apologies.
I wish they would do away with fireworks and replace with a laser light show.
Fireworks cause fires, injuries, stress for those with PTSD, stress on pets due to extreme noise, and wildlife abandon their nests and babies due to the them.

Well then, in reality it's the weather that is racists. After all, it's the wind that determines where the smoke goes. Seems hurricanes tend to target the Black/Hispanic controlled countries and cities as well. Earthquakes, drought, locusts, etc also seem to hit the Black/Brown areas the most. So that must mean Mother Nature and Earth herself is racist! But how I dare I call it Mother Nature or Earth a she. Must be called Birthing Nature and Earth is an it!
Actually no, the woke folks have invented multiple genders so Mother Earth goes. So does Father Time.
