Every Fourth of July, the New York Times publishes the entire Declaration of Independence, using a full page, and including an image of the original, with the signatures.

I sat down and took the time to re-read it, and am posting a link to the Archives version, in case you would like to, too.

It's nice to take a moment away from the picnics and fireworks to consider our history. This particular year, I noticed the accusation: He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us.

Was the Revolutionary War not insurrection?

Yes, I suppose so. Of course, those leaders were men of education, men of wealth/property, men of integrity, men of dedication in it for the long haul, who understood legalities and compromise - unlike this time around.

"This time around", the "insurrectionists" arrived unarmed, and were slain cold blood. According to the leftist narratives, Trump was the leader of this unarmed "insurrection", and he is highly educated, a land owner, and a billionaire, which places him in the highest social order of the USA, and even the world. He is in a much higher social class than any politician the left has today, except fake politician Michael Bloomturd, who lefties despise anyhow.

Here is the complete sentence. Note that you chose to dishonestly put a period where the comma exists.

He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavored to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages, whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.

We need a new declaration of independence. One that frees us from the swill and bilge that the leftist dems keep coughing up.

And is that sentence true or false? Did native Americans kill women and children in particularly savage ways, or were they all angels?

It's really too bad the left is not capable of thinking beyond the binary... even though they have been caterwauling about the benefits of non-binary thinking for decades.

The Declaration of Independence is perfect as written. We just need an updated list of grievances.
